🚨 Important Notice from TDR: Beware of Unofficial Tours!

On June 11th, Tokyo Disney Resort issued an official warning in both Japanese and English regarding "Private Tours Unaffiliated with Tokyo Disney Resort." ⚠️

They have confirmed that some individuals/unauthorized companies are selling paid, in-person guiding services where they enter the parks with guests to lead them around.

Please remember: Unauthorized commercial activities inside Tokyo Disney Resort are strictly prohibited. 🙅‍♂️❌ Nobody wants their dream vacation ruined by getting into trouble with park security! Please be very careful and do not book or purchase these unofficial in-person tours.

🍜 Viral on SNS: The "Sitting on the Ground Eating Instant Noodles" Controversy 🤯

Speaking of park rules, a single photo has gone viral on Japanese SNS (like X) over the last few days, causing a massive debate. 📈

The photo shows a group of about 10 international tourists sitting directly on the ground next to a pathway near popular attractions, spreading out instant cup noodles and other outside food to eat. 🥡❌

Japanese Disney fans have expressed deep confusion and disappointment, leaving comments like:

• "Isn't this completely against the rules?" 🤔

• "This completely ruins the magical vibe... The moment I saw this, I was dragged back to harsh reality." 😢

(Note: Because the behavior was so shocking, some people even wondered, "Is this a fake image made by AI?" TDR's operating company, Oriental Land, stated they are currently investigating the facts.)

Whether the photo is real or fake, public awareness regarding guest manners and outside food rules at Tokyo Disney is at an all-time high right now. 🔥

🍱 Want to Bring Your Own Food? Use the "Picnic Areas"! 🌸

As a general rule, Tokyo Disney Resort strictly prohibits bringing outside meals (such as bento boxes, sandwiches, rice balls, and instant noodles) inside the parks. 🚫🍙

(Exceptions: Candy, gum, small snacks for toddlers, and water bottles/plastic bottled drinks ARE allowed. If you have severe allergies or need baby food, you can bring those into the parks as well!)

But what if...

• "I bought food without knowing the rule!" 😭

• "I have allergies and need to eat my own prepared meal." 🌾

• "My toddler only eats familiar food from home." 👶

Don't worry! Tokyo Disney has beautiful, dedicated spaces right outside the main gates called "Picnic Areas"! 🌳 Here, you can sit comfortably on benches and enjoy your own food.

💡 Quick Tip on Re-entry: Can you leave the park to eat and come back? YES, you absolutely can! 🟢 Before stepping out through the exit gates, just ask a Cast Member for a re-entry hand stamp. They will stamp your hand with invisible ink. When you want to return, simply show your valid park ticket and your hand stamp under their blacklight, and you can jump right back into the magic! 🪄✨

• Location: Located on the left side when facing the main entrance (just past the shop called "Promenade Gifts East").

• Features: A gorgeous, spacious area surrounded by greenery with plenty of tables and chairs. Perfect for a relaxing meal before entering or during a mid-day break!

🌋 Tokyo Disney Sea Picnic Areas

• Location: There are actually two locations at DisneySea!

  1. Near the bus/taxi terminals outside the North Gate (South Side).

  2. Near the Disney Resort Line station outside the South Gate (North Side).

• Features: Conveniently located right outside the entrances, making it super easy to take a quick rest between your park hopping or traveling!
