1. ✈️ Before You Fly: Customs & Entry to Japan

🛂 Customs & Entry to Japan 🌸

Japan has some of the strictest animal and plant quarantine rules in the world! 🌏🚫

• No Meat Products! 🥩❌: Items like beef jerky, ham, and sausages are strictly prohibited. Even if they are vacuum-sealed or cooked, they are not allowed! 🙅‍♀️🧳

• Fruits & Vegetables 🍎🥦: Most fresh produce is forbidden. Please enjoy them before you arrive! ✈️😋

• Medication 💊✨: If you are bringing more than a one-month supply of prescription medicine, you may need to apply for a certificate called "Yunyu Kakunin-sho" in advance. 📝🏥

• Tip! 💡: Please check the official customs website early! 💻🔍

2. 🛡️ Security Check Secrets: How to Enter the Park Smoothly

Before entering the park, everyone must go through a security check. 👜🔍 

In the morning, the lines can be very long (sometimes over an hour! ⏰💦), so don't be surprised!

💡 Ayumi's Mini Tip: How to save time? 🏃‍♀️💨 

There are several security checkpoints at Tokyo Disneyland. Most people coming from Maihama Station line up at the first one they see. 🚉👣

However, the checkpoint directly in front of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is often less crowded and faster! 🏰✨ 

Please note: On very busy days, cast members will direct the lines. Always follow their instructions! 📣 If you get guided to the hotel side, consider yourself lucky! 🍀

🔍 What happens during the check?

• X-ray & Metal Detectors 💻🚧: Your bags go through a machine, and you walk through a gate. 🚶‍♂️✨

• Why would I be stopped? 🧐: If you have many metal items, cameras, or power banks stacked together, the X-ray is hard to read. 📸🔋 Organizing your bag beforehand makes the process much faster! 🎒✅

✨ For guests wearing religious headwear (Turban, Hijab, etc.): 

🧕👳‍♂️ You can pass through the gate as you are. If the metal detector reacts, you will not be asked to remove it. 🙅‍♀️ A cast member of the same gender will assist you in a private area with a hand-held scanner to ensure your privacy and comfort. 🤝💖

3. 🚫 Prohibited Items Inside the Park

Tokyo Disney Resort has stricter rules than some other Disney parks! Please check before you go! ✨

• Food & Drinks 🍱❌: Outside meals (bento, convenience store snacks) are NOT allowed inside. 🍙🙅‍♀️ (Exceptions: Allergies or baby food 🍼✅)

• Glass Bottles, Cans, & Alcohol 🍾🚫: Please use plastic bottles or water flasks for water/tea. 🥤🍵 Alcohol is not allowed to be brought in! 🍺❌

• Large Luggage 🧳💨: Large suitcases must be stored in coin lockers outside the park. 🗝️🏢

• Tripods & Selfie Sticks 📸⚠️: Generally not allowed. Extending them above head height is strictly forbidden! 🤳🚫

4. 🍱 Want to eat your own food? Use the "Picnic Area"!

There is a beautiful dedicated space outside the gates! 🌳🧺

• Location 📍: To the left of the Disneyland entrance, and outside both gates at DisneySea. 🏰🌋

• Enjoy your meal! 🍱😋: You can exit the park, enjoy your meal in the fresh air, and come back in later!

• Important! ⚠️: Don't forget to get a re-entry hand stamp at the exit! 🤚✨🎨

• Location: To the left of the Disneyland entrance, and outside both gates at DisneySea.

5. ✨ Welcome to the Magic! One Final Promise...

Once you pass security, scan your ticket QR code at the gate.
