Ending September 14th! Reach for the Stars Final ✨ Is seeing the drone show all down to luck!? 🛸🎲

The other day, I just had to go to Tokyo Disneyland because I wanted to see the final drone show of "Reach for the Stars" in person one last time! 🏰✨

The weather forecast for that day was totally sunny! ☀️

Even when I checked the hourly forecast before heading out, there wasn't a single umbrella icon in sight! ☔️❌

So my kids and I were super excited, thinking, "The drones are DEFINITELY flying tonight!" 🤩🎶

During the day, it was a hot summer day, but we were completely saved by the Soak-Up Wet Zone! 💦🌊😆

We thought, "Today is going to be the absolute best day ever!" ...or so we thought. 👀💭

"Reach for the Stars" starts at 8:55 PM! 🎆

(Park closing time is 9:00 PM, but since the show lasts about 20 minutes, the park is actually bustling with guests until around 9:30 PM! ⏱️✨)

Everything was going so smoothly, but around 7:00 PM... suddenly, rain drops started falling! ☔️😳

In the blink of an eye, the rain got super heavy, and everyone rushed towards World Bazaar, restaurants, and shops with roofs! 🏃💨

We evacuated into a souvenir shop, but then thunder started rumbling and it turned into a heavy thunderstorm! 🌩️⛈️

So for a while, we just stayed at World Bazaar, waiting out the rain. 🛖👀

When I checked the official app, sadly, the Electrical Parade was canceled... 😭💔

Luckily, the rain stopped in about 30 minutes, and it cleared up enough to walk outside without umbrellas again! 🌤️

And looking at the official app, "Reach for the Stars" didn't show "Canceled" and was still scheduled to go on! 🎟️✨

Since the rain had stopped and some guests had already bought DPAs (paid viewing areas), the show was officially happening! 🎉🙌

"I'm so glad the rain stopped!" 🥹

"Mom, I bet the drones will definitely launch tonight!" 🛸✨

Talking like this with my kids, we decided to watch "Reach for the Stars" right from World Bazaar. 🏰👀

"I wonder if the drones will show up halfway through~?" we watched with high hopes... 🥹💖

(Though at one point, we saw the lights of an airplane flying over Cinderella Castle and got mistaken, thinking "Ah! Is that a drone!?" 🤣✈️)

In the end... the show finished without any drones taking off...! 😅💨

"Aww, they didn't fly today~," we felt a little disappointed as we left the park. 🥹🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Actually, even though the rain had stopped at that moment, there was still a little distant thunder, and the heavy rain in the 7 PM hour probably made the drone preparation and safety checks really difficult! ⛈️⚙️

Japanese summer weather can be super sunny during the day, but sudden thunderstorms happen a lot in the evening and night, so it's really unpredictable! ☀️➡️⛈️🤔

The official website and app also state that "Drone performances may be canceled depending on weather conditions." 📲⚠️

Since it doesn't happen every single day, seeing the drones might really be a matter of luck! 🍀✨

📌 【LATEST ANNOUNCEMENT】For those visiting the park from September 1st to 14th! 🚨✨

Lastly, here is a super important update for anyone heading out to see "Reach for the Stars"! 🏰💖

From September 1st through September 14th, the nighttime access restriction hours for Fantasyland will be changed to 6:50 PM – 8:00 PM! ⏱️🌙

• During restriction hours (approx. 6:50 PM – 8:00 PM): Passing through Fantasyland will NOT be allowed! 🙅‍♀️🚫

• After restrictions are lifted (from 8:00 PM onwards): Attractions, select shops, and service facilities within the restricted area will become available to use! 🎠🛍️✨

  (※Please note that the detailed show schedule for September has not been announced yet as of now! 📲)

Set against the iconic Cinderella Castle, this spectacular show captures beloved Disney characters chasing their dreams across the sky! 🏰✨ And for a limited time until September 14th, a special drone show lights up the night sky right after the main performance to match the music! 🛸🎶🎆
