While crowd levels at Tokyo DisneySea can vary depending on the day, from my point of view as a travel planning advisor, these 6 attractions are overwhelmingly popular (with the longest wait times!). Your first strategy in the morning is going to be the absolute key🔑💥
I’ve put together the area info, availability of DPA (paid passes) and Priority Passes (free passes), and my best advice to help you tackle the park efficiently. Let’s dive in! 👇✨

🥇 1st Place: Soaring: Fantastic Flight ✈️🌍
Area: Mediterranean Harbor 🗺️
Average Wait Time: 【Weekdays】 approx. 180 mins / 【Weekends & Holidays】 plus an extra 30–60 mins! 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): YES! (Paid skip-the-line pass) 🎟️💳

The undisputed #1 is definitely Soaring! 👑 If you want to ride it without waiting and guarantee your spot, I highly, highly recommend opening your Tokyo Disney app and buying a DPA immediately after scanning into the park. However, if you are determined to wait in the regular line (standby), you can occasionally catch it under 100 minutes (around 50–90 mins) if you head straight there right at regular park opening! ✨
🥈 2nd Place: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey ❄️☃️
Area: Fantasy Springs 🏰🧚♀️
Average Wait Time: 【Weekdays】 approx. 180 mins / 【Weekends & Holidays】 plus an extra 30–60 mins! 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): YES! (Paid skip-the-line pass) 🎟️💳
Priority Pass: NO ❌
💡 Ayumi’s Insider Tip & Highlights! This is the mega-popular attraction located in the newest area, "Fantasy Springs". The biggest thing to watch out for is that Fantasy Springs is located at the absolute furthest back of Tokyo DisneySea! It takes at least a 15-minute walk just to get there from the main entrance gate. 🗺️🏃♂️ Right at park opening, the wait might be around 30 minutes, but it quickly jumps to a massive 180-minute line just like Soaring! (※If you are staying at a Disney hotel with "Happy Entry" access to enter 15 minutes early, this is your ultimate golden target! ✨)
🎁 Quick Insider Bonus! Other rides in the same area, like "Rapunzel's Lantern Festival" and "Peter Pan" (see #5 below), can often be ridden with just a 5-minute wait first thing in the morning! ⚠️ Just remember: running at park opening is strictly prohibited! Please walk safely—safety first! 🚶♀️💙
🥉 3rd Place: Toy Story Mania! 🤠🎯
Area: American Waterfront 🗽
Average Wait Time: Approx. 60–180 mins (It always feels like a massive line!) 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): YES! (Paid skip-the-line pass) 🎟️💳
Priority Pass: NO ❌
💡 Ayumi’s Insider Tip & Highlights! No matter when you go, this toy-box world attraction is always packed with a never-ending crowd! BUT, did you know that right at park opening, you can often ride it with only about a 20-minute wait? 🤫✨ If you've already decided to "buy DPA for Soaring or Frozen and save time!", heading straight to Toy Story Mania! first thing in the morning to conquer it with a short wait is a brilliant, highly recommended strategy! 🎯🥊
🏅 4th Place: Journey to the Center of the Earth 🌋🦖
Area: Mysterious Island 🌋
Average Wait Time: Approx. 60–180 mins (It skyrockets past 100 mins very quickly after opening!) 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): YES! (Paid skip-the-line pass) 🎟️💳
Priority Pass: NO ❌
💡 Ayumi’s Insider Tip & Highlights! Whenever I chat with international guests on DM, this ride is almost always on their "MUST-RIDE" list! 🗺️🔥 Fun fact: This is actually the fastest ride in all of Tokyo Disney Resort, reaching speeds of up to 75 km/h (46 mph)! 🌋💨 Compared to Fantasy Springs, it's a relatively straightforward and closer walk from the main entrance. If you want to kick off your morning with a thrilling adrenaline rush, standby at park opening is a great move! 🤩🦖
🏅 5th Place: Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure 🏴☠️✨
Area: Fantasy Springs 🏰🧚♀️
Average Wait Time: Easily over 100 mins during the day (The line grows within an hour of opening) 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): YES! (Paid skip-the-line pass) 🎟️💳
Priority Pass: NO ❌
💡 Ayumi’s Insider Tip & Highlights! Just like Frozen, this is located in the furthest new area. Because it's a long walk, you can experience it with a shorter wait time (sometimes around 5 minutes if you are fast!) right after rope drop. If you want to knock it out early, walking back here to standby is totally worth it. 🧚♂️🚶♂️ If you miss the morning window, try checking the wait times during the late afternoon/evening, or right when the big harbor shows are happening! The lines often drop nicely during these times. 🌠👀
🏅 6th Place: Tower of Terror 🏰⚡
Area: American Waterfront 🗽
Average Wait Time: Approx. 50–150 mins 🕒
Disney Premier Access (DPA): NO ❌
40th Anniversary Priority Pass: YES! (FREE skip-the-line pass) 🎟️🆓
💡 Ayumi’s Insider Tip & Highlights! Another major "must-ride" frequently requested by overseas guests! This beautifully cursed hotel is incredibly popular. 🐺🕵️♂️ Guess what? This thrill ride is eligible for the FREE Priority Pass! Therefore, your absolute best strategy is to grab a Priority Pass for Tower of Terror on your phone the minute you enter the park! 📲💥 Since it also has a relatively short wait first thing in the morning, you can grab the pass, ride it via standby right away, and then ride it again later with your pass! It's a luxury spooky start to your day! 👻🖤
